Question for ladies about coed gyms...? Sometimes men are self-conscious exercising in front of women (for example, overweight guys or really skinny guys who are embarrassed by their bodies.) Ladies, if you joined a coed gym and you paid the same membership price as men, would it bother you if the men had a separate exercise area such as a "men's only" weight room that only they could use, but there was no "women's only" area that only women could use? In other words, if there was a "men's only" area, but no "women's only" area, men would get to use the whole gym, but women would get to use the whole gym minus the men's area, meaning women would end up paying for equipment they weren't allowed to use. Would you perceive that to be unfair (especially if you are paying the same price for your membership), or would this be okay? Or what if there was a "men's only" lounge with a couple of couches and a TV where guys could hang out and watch sports or whatever, but there was no "women's only" lounge. Would you perceive that to be unfair and/or discriminatory? Ladies and Gentlemen, please, just answer the question asked without going off on tangents. How do people know that the person is a lady when the gym is for ladies only? SO the person could be a man in disguise of a woman and might want to join the gym, and some ladies look pretty manly too. Ladies do you ever try to pick up guys at the gym? Just a little curious as to if females ever try to get at guys while at the gym. I go to the gym alot and from time to time I do notice the female that's obviously checking me and other dudes out as she's hardly works out. On the other hand, I may come across a female that seems to steal a subtle glance and some girls seem to "follow" me through the gym as I workout. Coincidence and ladies are totally focused on getting in shape, or are signals being sent.

Ladies, why are you packed into the gyms? Personally, I don't care how "clean" they are or how much air freshener they pump in, as a guy, I can't stomach the smell and concentrate at the same time in a bacteria factory. And I've heard the cutest girls tell me they can't smell it--bull.sh*t. you don't WANT to smell it. Whatever you're doing there, you can do at home without risking MRSA, yeast, or other deadly and annoying infections. And from watching some of you play sports, ladies, I see working all those machines, for hours on end, does NOT translate into dexterity or coordination. So I can only imagine it's to showoff your bodies and get picked up--nothing to do with fitness or health. Anything else? At my gym we have a family locker room, but still some women bring their sons in the ladies room. Sometimes these kids appear to be much older than the age limit of 5.
