Getting back into working out after a very long hiatus....need help devising a plan!?

My boyfriend and I used to be very fit (he's a former Marine, I did sports all through high school), but now we are both overweight (me 5'4" 200 lbs, him 5'10" 240 lbs). It's been years since we've really worked out. We have been slowly changing our eating habits, but now it's time to work out! We are getting memberships to the local gym, and I'd like help planning a routine for us that involves cardio and weights. We have no restrictions regarding exercises or equipment. I realize that men and womens fitness needs are different, but we'd like something that we could do together (same time on the treadmill for example) for now until we are both at a better level of fitness. Our plan is 4 days at the gym one week, 3 the next. If anybody has ideas for a good plan, or websites that have ones already drawn out I would really appreciate it :) Thanks!

  1. I found out a couple of weeks ago that additional weight is not constantly thanks to additional fat, a load of additional weight is just lying around in your colon. I tried a brand new supplement that's taking the nation by storm, it flushes out your colon. I do not know how it does it, nevertheless I know that I melted away seventeen lbs and 4 inches off of my waist! There's a risk free trial at http://mopect.buildinghealthy.info
  2. Diet and exercise, for diet NO salt or sugar, drink only water, eat low fat, medium carbs and protein. Stay away from processed foods like rice white bread and pasta. No fried fast foods or junk food. For exercise - Cardio will burn all the fat you need, running, bicycling, elliptical, rowing machine and DVD aerobis. I like the aerobics as your body will never get used to it and hit a plateau. Dont fall for the supplements either, they do not work, they are only caffeine and will only hurt you. Acia berry is an antioxident and has been proven not to do anything for fat burning. It is the same as a blueberry. Just an antioxident. Only diet and exercise will help you to lose weight and become healthier.
